Corporate leaders in Muscat are set to make a voyage into the interior stores of Chanakya's wisdom and leadership strategies.

Oman's Infoline has joined hands with one of India's leading theatre groups, Main Course Production, Mumbai, for a period of two years to spread corporate values and principles through a mega theatre show in the six member Arab states.
"This exclusive tie up is for the entire Gulf countries, and the first grand show in this series 'Chanankyashastra' to be staged in Muscat on March 27", Sameer Gupta, vice-president of Infoline ,said.

According to organizers, is first of its kind in Oman, and never before anyone has attempted to educate the business community on corporate values through theatre. The play will have its influence on Oman's business community as Oman India relationship dates back thousands of years.
To substantiate the fact, history reveals that Sind merchants made contacts with Muscat during the 11th century. Some of them were settled in Muscat, and during the 17th century, the number of Sind merchants in Muscat and the Al Batinah coast increased considerably. Chanakyashastra, an English play written and directed by corporate trainer, theater and film director, Sanjay Srinivas, visualizing strategic leadership and management will be staged here at Inter Continental Palm Gardens next week, and enlighten corporate leaders and decision makers . The play Chanakyashastra visualizes nine powerful gems (Navratanas) created by Chanakya to create a leader like Chandragupta Maurya.
Infoline, an innovative creation by joint venture partners Bahwan CyberTek, Omantel and PEIE, is presenting this grand show 'Chanakyashastra'. The event is managed and promoted by Light & Shadow Enterprises.
Chanakya is the author of the Arthashastra. The Arthashastra discusses monetary and fiscal policies, welfare, international relations, and war strategies in details. The play emphasizes: "When we are in great positions, we have great responsibilities. A CEO is not only responsible to himself, but to his company, shareholders, stakeholders and the economy" . Rajendra Gupta plays the role of Chanakya.
Story Abstract
A Conglomerate, which is setting Global standards, is New India New Energy (NINE). NINE, headed by CEO, Karan Nanda, is one of the world's biggest corporations in the area of power and energy. He is powerful, he is connected, he is corrupt and he is unbeatable. Corruption nepotism and harmful politics have now become accepted practices under his leadership. Siddarth Srivastav is young, energetic and ambitious. He is the General Manager, Marketing at the corporate office in Mumbai. One day, he is mercilessly shown the door by Karan Nanda. The night after his exit from NINE, he reads Kautilya's Arthashastra. To his complete shock, Siddarth sees Chanakya come back to life and help overthrow the corrupt Karan Nanda, and establish a rightful leader as the CEO. Siddarth rejoins NINE after publicly apologizing to Karan Nanda. He follows the leadership style proposed by Chanakya and starts becoming an influential leader. He creates his own group of loyalists and secretly starts a campaign against Nanda. He uses Chanakya's Navratanas to ensure that he makes the right moves and employs appropriate strategies to achieve his goal.
