According to Dominick Keenaghan, President of INSIGHTS, the successful nominations for the awards came from all across the region and from a mixture of different industries including banking, telecoms, delivery services, insurance, outsourcing and airlines.
Though only a small number of outright winners were possible, reaching 'nominations' status in itself was recognized as a benchmark. Those nominated, underwent a site visit and subsequently the judging committee made the final decisions thereafter.
It is worth mentioning that in the aftermath of the recent cyclone, when most organizations in Oman had their share of damages and were striving to come back to their normal operations, Infoline commenced operations on June 9. Although handicapped by lean staff and communication related problems, the Infoline team was virtually unstoppable and ensured they met the service level standards of the client. Their directory enquiry (1318) process witnessed a whopping 45 percent increase in the traffic and was receiving on an average of 35,000 calls per day.
The rise of Infoline LLC to the forefront of the business process outsourcing (BPO) and customer contact centre industry in the entire Middle East has been impressively swift. From contact center services, business process outsourcing to turnkey training initiatives, Infoline continues to focus on ‘customer delight’.
When asked about the significance of receiving the award, Gupta said, “Awards like these add more responsibilities and encourage us to achieve better standards. It is also a reaffirmation of Infoline’s leadership position in the OSP sector in the Sultanate. Our organization is working towards becoming truly global and awards such as these encourage both our internal and external customers”.
