Yet in the 40 years since change management became a business topic, ironically the only thing that has not changed is our approach to change management itself. Change management doest not work as we apply it today; if it did, we would not have so many (albeit unspoken) strategic failures.
It is time to go beyond change management and focus on strategy – implementation – an area whose importance managers generally underestimate.
